Anna and James love to blend modern and traditional. They met online, fell in love and got married wearing their cowboy boots! Living in Florida they are used to sunny summer days and decided to have the wedding in Texas to be with family. Their intimate Conroe wedding was shared with close friends and family and Heather’s Glen’s romantic gardens made a wonderful setting for the day. I especially liked the “Time Warp” dance Anna and her friends danced! Joel and I are so grateful that you wanted us to part of your wedding day. Ya’ll are perfect for each other! We wish you many many years of happiness!! You guys are just SO cute together! I can’t get over it! Time Warp!!
Joel and I had a wonderful time photographing Lauren and John’s wedding. My favorite thing abut both Lauren and john is both of them have great a great sense of humor. They love to joke around with each other and they kept Joel and I laughing most of the time. They had their ceremony at St John Vianney Catholic Church which was grand and beautiful. When I first walked in all I could think was Wow! Their reception was held at River Oaks Garden Club which was the perfect backdrop for beautiful portraits. Lauren and John; Joel and I are so glad that we were able to capture you wedding day. You two are just made for each other! Here is to many many years of happiness!!

Sara and Ashkan are such a great couple and were great sports about being photographed in the rain. We had a wonderful time and got some awesome Engagement Portraits at Hermann Park and near Downtown Houston! Be sure to read the Q&A below to learn more about them! It rained just long enough to get these shots! I love the hearts!

I’ve recently added Engagement Guestbooks to my product list. I love them because 1. It’s a great conversation starter for your guests at your wedding, 2. it’s a wonderful way to showcase your engagement session and your guests signatures and 3. you have the album as a keep sake for years to come and you can display it along side your wedding album. Here is one engagement album I printed. I use Lilia and Justin’s engagement session. Here is one cover option and a few of the pages to showcase the different page designs I used. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think! A few pages are covered completely with an image. I wouldn’t sign on these pages. Other pages have white space for guests to sign on. Some pages have a sheer background for guests to sign on.

When Lilia and Justin had the idea to go to Minute Maid Park and get some portraits in front of the Houston skyline we were super excited. I have to say I am not much of a baseball fan but I got a HUGE kick out of walking around Minute Maid Park with no one else there. My favorite places to shoot at the park the dug outs and home plate. Be sure to checkout what they put up on the scoreboard, it’s so cute! Lilia and Justin loved it because they love baseball and the Astros. Being able to walk where they play was awesome. The second part of the shoot was downtown on a rooftop. I have been living here in Houston all of my life and I have NEVER seen a better view of the Houston skyline. This was an amazing experience and we got some amazing portraits. Which ones are your favorite? Leave a comment and let me know!!

This last week Joel and I visited my sister, brother in law and two nephews in Dallas to celebrate Max’s 2nd and Gabe’s 1st birthdays. They are growing up SO fast! They in the “babbling” phase and will repeat a little of what you say. Max can sometimes put a few words together and Gabe mostly makes funny baby noises. We could only stay one day but they are so cute that I had to take some pictures before we left. It was really great seeing everyone and I can’t wait to see them again soon! Here’s Max! And Gabe! Bed head. Sitting in the toy box like he owns the place. They are TOO cute! I just can’t get enough! “Scrunchy face!” Lady killer face! I couldn’t resist the eyelashes shot. GOOOOOOOAAALLLLL!!!! Take one bite, put it on the table, take one bite, put it on the table… Joel’s brother Ira was in town for Guard drill and dropped by to say “Hi”. Piano lessons. Bed time, good night.
