Sara and Ashkan's Wedding at The Heights Villa in Houston, TX

Sara and Ashkan are both half Persian and we thought it was wonderful that they included some traditional Persian ceremonies in their wedding. The “Sugar Ceremony” during the wedding and “Knife Dance” before the cake cutting were both fun and beautiful. Sara and Ashkan prove that there is someone perfect for everyone in this world. They are such a great example because She is a nurse and he is in his last year of medical school. So as Ashkan’s brother put it “The doctor and nurse found each other.” 🙂 Joel and I had a wonderful time getting to know each of you and documenting this journey. Here is to many happy years of marriage! Cheers! 🙂 The beautiful venue was The Heights Villa. Amazing floral arrangements by Mahala Floral Designs. Anna & James' Wedding - Conroe, TX

Anna and James love to blend modern and traditional. They met online, fell in love and got married wearing their cowboy boots! Living in Florida they are used to sunny summer days and decided to have the wedding in Texas to be with family. Their intimate Conroe wedding was shared with close friends and family and Heather’s Glen’s romantic gardens made a wonderful setting  for the day. I especially liked the “Time Warp” dance Anna and her friends danced! Joel and I are so grateful that you wanted us to part of your wedding day. Ya’ll are perfect for each other! We wish you many many years of happiness!! You guys are just SO cute together! I can’t get over it! 🙂 Time Warp!!

Lauren and John's Wedding - Houston, TX

Joel and I had a wonderful time photographing Lauren and John’s wedding. My favorite thing abut both Lauren and john is both of them have great a great sense of humor. They love to joke around with each other and they kept Joel and I laughing most of the time. 🙂 They had their ceremony at St John Vianney Catholic Church which was grand and beautiful. When I first walked in all I could think was Wow! Their reception was held at River Oaks Garden Club which was the perfect backdrop for beautiful portraits. Lauren and John; Joel and I are so glad that we were able to capture you wedding day. You two are just made for each other!  Here is to many many years of happiness!! 🙂

Angela and Lubin's Wedding - The Tremont House Galveston, TX

Angela and Lubin are such a sweet, loving and fun couple and I was very grateful to be part of their wedding day. They put a lot of thought into their wedding jewelry. Their wedding rings were three intertwined bands that rolled around each other, the three bands representing the holy trinity. Lubin’s cufflinks were Angela’s grandfather’s and I thought that was an awesome personal touch. They had their wedding at The Tremont House in Galveston, TX. They had the ceremony on the roof. Angela said that her grandmother was the first one to get married on the Tremont rooftop and that because the Tremont house was changing their policy that her and Lubin would probably be the last couple to get married up there. I love how their ceremony was small and intimate with just their close family and friends. Enjoy the photos!
